Ranked number one in Airport Service Quality Awards for 3 years consecutively, Incheon Airport Immigration Office appointed professionals in diverse fields as members of the 'Incheon Airport Immigration Development Council' for better service provision, with the aim to upgrade the quality of immigration service by evaluating with the customers' aspects and reflecting their comments.
At the Service Academy of Incheon Airport recently, Incheon Airport Immigration Office(Head; Min, Gwang-sik) appointed as members of the 'Incheon Airport Immigration Development Council' 12 professionals in diverse fields.
According to Incheon Airport, this council includes foreign professionals such as Tami Overby, the president of the American Chamber of Commerce in Korea, Edward Lead, the head of Korean Branch of the Asia Foundation, and Linton John, the head of the Foreigners' Clinic in Severance Hospital, as well as Jang Yeonggyu, the president of Korea Perstak, Choi Geunseo, the chief lawyer of Sinmungo lawfirm, Ryu Chunsu, the vice president of the Korea Architect Association, Kim Juho, the certified public accountant of the Hwain accounting firm, and the chiefs of Incheon Airport branches of Korean Air and Asiana Air.
The members of this council will serve for the next one year, monitoring immigration service system when using Incheon Airport, introducing advanced foreign cases, and presenting better policy model, Airport said.
